You are the blood flowing in and out of my veins
Into shards of black skies and crescent moons
Hanging from our palms and brushing our lips

The extinguished light of your eyelids
No longer burns bright
Rather they smolder between
Stolen glances and sips of tea

My blanket features are coming undone
Much like the seams of my scarecrow heart
Childhood nostalgia has never seemed so bleak

"...they smolder between/ Stolen glances and sips of tea." That's it, isn't it, a life measured out in the fragments that make up our existence, the 'shards of black skies and crescent moons...' I cannot touch the power of the image, "Much like the seams of my scarecrow heart..." The title is it, a superb summary... childhood nostalgia'... bleak it is, indeed. It's od, though - in such bleak pessimism, the power and vitality of your imagery actually rstores in me some hope. The strength of your writing betrays its theme. Only in silence, the word; only in darkness, the light.

Then use not your eyes to see but your ears to hear caring words whispered, and touch to feel the hug that offers strength and comfort with a shoulder if needed. When the world has reseeded lisson again then you shall hear the birds in the sky, waves on a beach, and the heart beat of a friend; then feel the breeze on your arms and the sun on your face and only then can you open your eyes again to see the worlds the same just the suffering gone.

An optimistic viewpoint is indulging ignorance, for the world is no longer a happy place where childish views can exist. They have been trampled and childhood dreams and ambitions are long forgotten because growing up means you have to give up on the fun and games.

The world has happy spot it does and you may grow up but childish behavior and beliefs can survive just not all of they, Hell I'm 21 and still play video games and read and hang with friends just because I grew up doesn't mean I had to stop all that.

Its hard but possible, And minecraft is just so cool

That description reminded me of disney land for some reason (I've never been but the adverts look fun)

okay, point taken, you win.

Video games are awesome but I've had to put them on hiatus because of my finals >o<

I under stand I had to put my games on hold for awhile do to my finals finally got to play them after and didn't go to bed the first night and hated work the next day but it was so worth it. I've never been to Disney land but it does sound like fun.

Have you ever played minecraft?

Sounds like it was fun, well the first part about playing games and stuff.

I haven't but I intend to after my exams I have a pile of games I want to play after the exams. If I started now I'd probably get even less revision done than I am now :D

This is such a gorgeous poem, I nearly died of happiness. You took me to another world with this. I love when people use these types of descriptions and analogies; they're so out of this world. Great work.
