I think we were a collision course waiting to happen
And when I think back to the day when we first
Stumbled across one another, red sneakers hanging off gutters
Cherry cola voice overs and dilated pupils
We led one another on to believe in the night sky of connect the dot constellations

You wanted to dissect me and peer into the insides of my lungs
Only to find witches breath and dandelions
Slicing iron vowels you locked your hands in mine
And we fell into the static of dreaming disease
The operating table broke away to reveal a sky that never existed
And we couldn't help but laugh at the irony
Because wishing was never an option
The anesthesia never seemed to fit in our veins anyway.

I couldn't agree more, the fact that someone can ingrain themselves so deeply into the grooves of our veins and remain there no matter how hard you try to wash them out. I guess that's just part of life, people leave their marks on you over time they fade other times they remain.

Unfortunately, the marks they leave behind aren't always positive. But we're still left to cope with them.

obviouslyyoustillhavemuchtosayandthispersonisadeepinsipiration - it all comes down to the anesthesia. wouldn't it be lovel if the feeling of love came in the form of an anesthetic or at least had an antidote?

I agree completely, to long for the feeling to not feel at all. How lovely that must be, to not feel anything at all.

Or to live feelings intensely and be able to shut it off at least at night so I can finally get some sleep.

To be able to shut off emotions isn't easy, and emotions are barely tolerable as they normally are, for them to be intensified must be hell.

play not connect the dots but turn the stars into a echascetch and make your own drawing, knowledge of one is great but at what cost do we retrieve it? The sky shall always be there perhaps covered in clouds but the sun shall shine eventually.

stars are just flaming balls of gas suspended like ghosts without lungs nor eyes. The skies never change and that pisses me off because the people beneath them do.

your idea of helping is to hit each other on the head with a hammer? :P

What are ghost but the past rearing its head put it behind you and continue on. The skies in Texas are always (90%) blue and the sun shining come here and be happy never trust thoughs that change but love and hold close to thoughs that don't and stay close.

YES.

(hope this makes since)

The past defines us and leaves deep grooves in our skin. Marks that humans leave are too often scars. I'd love to go to somewhere where the sky is just a huge expanse of blue.

Wouldn't that just cause permanent brain damage? :P

(It made sense)

"They make creams for deep grooves"← joke

While the memory of past events will always be with us along with some scares most will heal and fad and with help the shall heal faster as long as friends can help.

Come to Texas for the big blue skies.

Brain damage maybe but for some it might help them.

Haha, I see

That's true but old wounds seem to enjoy opening up for some reason.

Sounds like it'd be fun aside from potentially melting :P

What are ya insinuating? (jk)

Old wounds never fully close but remain open enough for you to stumble into from time to time.

Melting here is quite possible on some days.

Nothing towards you but I know a few people that need a good bashing.
